Here are some players that I don’t like in 2026. Some could be busts, while others seem overvalued with their current price tag (consensus ranking being too high).

Jalen Hurts
The word on the street is that A.J. Brown is headed out of town. It sounds like New England could be the landing spot. And without Brown, the Eagles’ entire offense takes a hit, including Hurts. Philly brought in Hollywood Brown and Dontayvian Wicks and they jumped in front of the Steelers to draft Maikai Lemon, but no one has the ability to replace Brown. I think Hurts has a down year. I’m probably fading him unless I get him dirt cheap, which I doubt will happen.

Jaxson Dart
I was shocked when I saw Jaxson Dart’s consensus ranking at QB 8. He’s a good young player, but that’s quite the leap from last year. And there’s a good chance he’ll be without his top WR, Malik Nabers to start the season. In fact, I doubt Nabers will be at 100% all season. While the Giants upgraded their o-line with first round pick Francis Mauigoa, even he has a back issue which eventually needs to be addressed with surgery. There’s also been some rumors that the Giants are expected to focus their offense around the running game. Throw in a brand new offense and it’s hard to see Dart coming out of the gates on fire. Given these concerns, Jaxson is too risky for me in 2026.

Bo Nix
Nix is probably fairly priced at QB 15, but this comes down to his achilles. If he’s 100% then he could do well. The Broncos added some firepower when they got Jaylen Waddle from Miami. However, if Nix Achilles is an issue, that could means less rushing yards for Nix. Keep an eye on the medical reports this summer and revisit this in August.

Malik Willis
I know QBs who get a lot of rushing yards are valuable in fantasy, but I’m out on Malik Willis. The Dolphins are in complete rebuilding mode. Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddles are gone. The offensive line is a major work in progress. And Willis is still unproven. In fact, I thought the Dolphins overpaid given the limited sample size from Willis as a starter. I’m fading the Dolphins this year, and that includes the new QB in South Beach. with a FantasyPros Consensus Ranking at QB 21- Whatch you talkin’ about Willis?

Bryce Young
Quick, (without looking it up) how many games did Bryce Young throw for over 300 yards last year? If you guessed two, you’re right. It’s hard to win fantasy football championships when your QB can’t eclipse the 300 yard mark in what’s considered a passing league.

Daniel Jones
Indiana Jones is coming off a torn Achilles injury. He might not be ready for the start of the season. And when he does come back, will he have the confidence and the ability to be the same player? Will he be able to gain valuable rushing yards like he did prior to the injury? Jones needs to rush to have value in fantasy, in my humble opinion. If he can’t or isn’t able to, then I think it’s best to look elsewhere for QB depth for your fantasy team.
